Welcome
Storey Studios is the creative collaboration of sisters Nathalie and Beth Storey. Natives of Louisiana, both ladies have now established homes in Sugar Land, Texas. In 2008, they joined creative forces to share their artistic visions with the world. Both share a flair for colorful, quirky, and whimsical design. Their pieces are best described as delightfully eclectic. A passion for man’s best friend, the loyal and lovable dog, is also a huge influence in the lives and works of both artists. The sisters have developed a specialty in commissioned pet portraiture.
Nathalie shares her life with six spoiled four-legged children; Chloe, Johnson, Beckett, Jewel, Luci, and BeauxJ; and her wonderful spouse Benjamin. Nathalie took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, she developed an appreciation for all forms and styles. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Nathalie's life would be centered on her passion to create. Her use of vibrant colors and heavy brushstrokes fill her works with movement.
Beth’s home is filled with the adventures of two rescued boys; Caillou, the sweet, sensitive border collie, and the infamous Leopold, a rambunctious whippet mix. Though her kitchen and dining tables stay buried under a mountain of supplies; her husband Jimmy remains supportive of her dreams. Beth began attending formal art classes at the age of six and continues seeking out and exploring all mediums of artful expression. Her focus now lies in creating mixed media collages. Any found object she takes a fancy too will likely be seen in her creations.
